Set up trucks and driver details

Let's set up a truck in Loads Hub with its carrier, driver contact details, and assigned users.

Have the truck identifier and carrier information ready before you begin.

Open Trucks, then select Add Truck.

Enter the required Truck Number.

Choose the matching Truck Type: Box Truck, Hot Shot, or Van.

Select the carrier company for this truck.

Fleet Management groups trucks by carrier.

If the company still needs to be created, use Add Carrier on Fleet Management before completing the truck setup.

Enter the Driver Name and Driver Phone so your team has the right contact details.

These fields describe the driver of the truck.

Assigned app users are selected separately below.

Enter the truck's current Location, then choose its Status.

The options are Available, In Transit, Maintenance, and Out of Service.

Use the status that reflects the truck's actual condition.

Under Assign To, select the app users responsible for this truck.

This section supports multiple selections.

Check the intended people instead of assuming the driver name assigns a user.

Add any useful Notes.

Review the truck number, type, carrier, driver contact details, location, status, and assigned users.

Select Add Truck when you're ready to save.

On Fleet Management, search by carrier, truck, driver, or location.

Use the truck type, status, and dispatcher filters to narrow the list and find the truck you need.

The Drivers section opens Driver Performance, with statistics and rankings.

For this setup workflow, driver contact details belong in the truck form; Drivers is where you review performance.

Your checklist is the right truck and carrier, accurate driver details, and the correct status and assigned users.
