Acceptable Use Policy

Effective August 1, 2026 · Version 1.0

Loadshub is a working tool for freight carriers. This page sets out the small number of things you can't do with it, and what happens if you do.

On this page
  1. 1. Scope
  2. 2. Use it lawfully
  3. 3. Data you upload
  4. 4. Carrier lookup
  5. 5. Automated parsing
  6. 6. Security
  7. 7. Accounts and seats
  8. 8. Fair use
  9. 9. Reporting abuse
  10. 10. Enforcement
  11. 11. Contact

1. Scope

This policy applies to everyone who uses Loadshub — account owners, managers, dispatchers, accounting staff and drivers. It forms part of our Terms of Service. If you invite someone into your office, you're responsible for their conduct on it.

2. Use it lawfully

Don't use Loadshub to break the law or to help anyone else do so. That includes:

  • Arranging or documenting the transport of goods you know to be illegal or stolen
  • Falsifying records, proofs of delivery, weights, hours, or driver qualification documents
  • Committing or facilitating freight fraud, double-brokering without authorisation, identity theft, or invoice fraud
  • Evading sanctions, customs, or export controls
  • Money laundering or disguising the origin of funds

Loadshub keeps records, but it doesn't verify the truth of what you type into it. Creating false records in Loadshub to mislead a broker, insurer, regulator or driver is a breach of this policy and may be a crime.

3. Data you upload

Only upload documents and data you have the right to handle. Don't upload:

  • Material that infringes someone else's copyright or trade secrets
  • Malware, or files designed to exploit or damage systems
  • Personal information you have no lawful basis to hold — particularly about people outside your business
  • Sensitive categories of data the product isn't designed for, such as medical records beyond DOT medical cards, or payment card numbers

You're responsible for informing your drivers and staff that their records are held in Loadshub, and for having a lawful basis to hold them.

4. Carrier lookup

Carrier lookup exists so you can vet a carrier before tendering a load. Use it for that.

  • Don't scrape or bulk-harvest registry results to build a competing database
  • Don't use returned contact details to send unsolicited marketing at scale
  • Don't automate the lookup beyond normal interactive use
  • Don't use the data to harass a carrier or its staff

Registry data is supplied by third parties and may be out of date. Always verify authority, insurance and equipment directly with the carrier before tendering.

5. Automated parsing

Document parsing is provided to save you typing. Don't:

  • Submit documents you have no right to process
  • Use it as a general-purpose document conversion service unrelated to your freight operations
  • Attempt to extract, reverse engineer or reproduce the underlying models
  • Submit deliberately adversarial content intended to manipulate the output

Parsed output is a starting point, not a verified transcription. Check it before you dispatch, invoice or pay against it.

6. Security

Don't:

  • Attempt to access another office's data, or any account that isn't yours
  • Probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written permission
  • Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or role-based access controls
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code
  • Interfere with the service's operation or another customer's use of it

Found a vulnerability? We want to hear about it. Report it to support@loadshub.app and give us reasonable time to fix it before disclosing publicly. We will not pursue action against good-faith researchers who follow this.

7. Accounts and seats

  • Each person who logs in needs their own account — don't share one login between multiple people to avoid seat costs
  • Don't create multiple offices to circumvent plan limits
  • Don't resell, sublicense or provide access to Loadshub as a service to third parties without our written agreement
  • Remove staff who leave your company promptly

8. Fair use

Our plans are designed for normal operational use by a freight carrier. We don't publish hard caps for everyday activity, but we do reserve the right to contact you if usage is so far outside normal patterns that it degrades the service for others — for example, automated bulk submission of documents unrelated to loads you're actually running.

If that happens, we'll talk to you first. We will not silently throttle you.

9. Reporting abuse

If you believe someone is using Loadshub in breach of this policy — including to defraud carriers or brokers — report it to support@loadshub.app with as much detail as you can. We investigate every report.

10. Enforcement

Where we find a breach, our response is proportionate to what happened:

SituationTypical response
Minor or accidentalWe contact you and ask you to fix it
Repeated after noticeFeature restriction or temporary suspension
Serious — fraud, security attack, illegal freightImmediate suspension without prior notice
Unlawful conductSuspension, plus referral to law enforcement where appropriate

Where we suspend an account without notice, we'll tell you why as soon as it's reasonable to do so, unless a legal obligation prevents it. Data retention after termination follows section 16 of the Terms of Service.
