Configure dispatcher rates

In this tutorial, you'll set dispatcher pay rates in Loads Hub, including rates for different truck types.

Open Payables, then select Dispatcher Rates. Choose Add Dispatcher Rate to create a rate entry.

Select a user registered as a dispatcher. Each rate entry belongs to the dispatcher you choose.

For a general rate, choose All Types, Default. To set a rate for a particular truck type, select that type instead.

Enter the agreed pay percentage. In this demonstration, two percent is only an example. Confirm the dispatcher, truck type, and percentage before selecting Add Rate.

Dispatcher pay uses the full load amount. On a one thousand dollar load, a two percent dispatcher rate gives twenty dollars.

For comparison, an eight percent carrier dispatch fee on that same load is eighty dollars. The dispatcher's twenty dollars is calculated from the full thousand dollars, not from the eighty dollar fee.

Review each dispatcher's rate and truck type in the rates list. Repeat for any additional dispatcher or truck type you need to configure, using the agreed percentages.
